- ➤ A historical postcard recounts lumber baron J.A.C. Blackburn’s legacy as he built his home at 220 N. Fourth St. in 1907 to showcase his timber work; he served in the Arkansas Legislature and restored War Eagle Mill before passing in 1919, and the house still stands. - ➤ Benton, Madison, and Boone counties imposed burn bans amid a high wildfire risk, and Benton County's ban stays active until 7 a.m. today as officials monitor conditions.
