- ➤ Rogers officials announced that Easy Street will have phased lane and street closures between Dixieland Road and Eighth Street for a Black Hill Energy transmission line upgrade, and the work is set to continue through October. Westbound traffic will be kept between 12th Street and Dixieland Road at first — full closure will occur later while access to residences, businesses and the Railyard Loop Trail remains open. - ➤ Two blood donation events will take place in Northwest Arkansas over the next week — one is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pig Trail Harley-Davidson in Rogers where donors will receive a free $10 gift card, a custom T-shirt, and an Ozarks Adventure Pass, while a second drive will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fayetteville Town Center to honor fallen officer Stephen Carr with free T-shirts and the Ozarks Adventure Pass offered while supplies last.
