Two Rogers officers were injured when an officer cleaning a firearm accidentally discharged it — the round hit his leg and then struck a colleague's foot — and although neither injury is life-threatening, both officers were taken to a local hospital while the department begins an internal investigation.

On Thursday, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals heard oral arguments on the LEARNS Act Indoctrination section but did not take further action on Attorney General Tim Griffin's request to lift a court order that stops the state from enforcing it.
