- ➤ Firefighters will gather at Memorial Park amphitheater in Siloam Springs at 2 p.m. on Sunday to honor fallen colleagues—retired firefighter-paramedic Andy Ingram is organizing the event in support of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The ceremony will also recognize Kansas City firefighter-paramedic Graham Hoffman, who died last weekend after being stabbed during a medical transport, with the Rogers and Bentonville Fire Department Honor Guards participating. 4029 News

- ➤ The Rogers Public Library remains mostly closed because storm damage from the May 2024 tornado has limited its services to lobby book pickup for residents. City officials say repairs will finish by the end of 2025—teachers and parents worry these delays may affect children’s access to learning resources. 4029 News

- ➤ The Rogers Mountaineers clinched at least a share of the 6A-West Conference title with a doubleheader sweep of Rogers Heritage last week—marking a 14-game win streak—and they bounced back from an early 16-1 loss on March 3rd. They need one more win or a Fayetteville loss to claim the title outright as they will face Fort Smith Southside on Monday and Tuesday—after hosting defending 5A state champion Valley View Friday at Mountie Field.
