- ➤ The Walton Family Foundation has announced that its Home Region Program will focus on housing, transportation, and infrastructure in NW Arkansas and on education in the Mississippi River Delta, with grants set to support projects in Rogers and Bentonville while boosting local business and workforce opportunities. - ➤ The Congress for New Urbanism Conference will bring more than 1,500 planners and developers to the region with its opening party at Railyard Park in downtown Rogers Tuesday evening. - ➤ Gas prices in Arkansas rose to $3.99 per gallon today, an increase of 10 cents from last week and $1.26 more than early May last year, according to AAA. The agency says oil price swings have driven up costs, and prices are expected to remain high ahead of Memorial Day travel + local differences may occur. 5 News
