  • Two years after tornadoes struck on May 26, 2024 — damaging businesses and homes in Rogers, local leaders have rallied to rebuild the community. The Rogers Lowell Chamber reports 133 new businesses have opened since July, a sign of ongoing investment and recovery.  4029 News
  • Blue Zoo Aquarium in Rogers will close permanently at the end of summer, with its final day expected around Aug. 1. A Facebook post thanked visitors for their support + local patrons recalled the venue's interactive exhibits that made it a community favorite.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • Walton Arts Center announced today that AMP Up the Arts—a public benefit concert featuring Leon Thomas and sponsored by General Mills—will be held at the Walmart AMP on Wednesday, Oct. 7 with reservations opening at 10 am today to support local arts education programs.  Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce

  • Police across Northwest Arkansas are ramping up seatbelt checks ahead of Memorial Day weekend as part of the Click It or Ticket campaign; officers may impose a fine ($25) if drivers are not buckled up to help reduce deadly crashes during increased travel.  4029 News

  • The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission reported that the 2026 spring turkey season ended May 10 with hunters checking 13,591 turkeys in northern Arkansas, marking the highest adult gobbler count since 1982 thanks to new management zones + strong opening day harvests.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
