- ➤ A tiny home built by Rogers Public Schools students during the 2024-25 school year will be auctioned at Rogers Career Center on May 29, with viewing scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. The two-bed, one-bath house cost $25,000 — its sale will help repay the district's investment and highlight a new hands-on Career and Technical Education project. 5 News
- ➤ Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has appointed Ashley Pointer to a vacant seat on Northwest Arkansas Community College’s Board of Trustees representing Centerton and western Bentonville; she will serve until Jan 1 as she replaces Carolyn Reeves who resigned after accepting a fellowship. - ➤ Rogers Heritage High School held its graduation on May 16 at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville where 520 graduates were offered over $11.7 million in scholarships — school officials confirmed the offers. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers closed swim beaches at Horseshoe Bend Day Use Area, Hickory Creek Day Use Area and War Eagle Park at Beaver Lake until further notice because high water and floating debris created safety hazards.
