  • AAA reports that gas prices in Arkansas and Oklahoma are holding steady for Memorial Day weekend; Arkansas averages $4.08 per gallon (a one-cent drop from yesterday and one cent above last weekend) while Oklahoma records $4.02 against a national average of $4.52.  4029 News

  • Rogers’ 8-year-old Wythe Thompson received his Mensa certificate on May 13 after scoring in the top 2% on his test. He builds math skills at Mathnasium in Bentonville and pursues space exploration — fueling his drive to tackle advanced topics as he grows.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • Arkansas & Georgia are set to face off today at 1 p.m. in Hoover in the SEC baseball tournament as the Razorbacks pursue their first title since 2021 while the Bulldogs seek their inaugural win; starting pitcher announcements are pending amid rain chances & injury concerns affecting Arkansas’ bullpen plans.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • The Arkansas Razorbacks softball team, nicknamed the Bogle Bombers, will face Nebraska in their first Women’s College World Series game on Thursday, May 28 at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN2 at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.   • After Georgia beat Arkansas by a score of 11 to 1 in the SEC Tournament Championship, coach Dave Van Horn and players Cole Gibler and Camden Kozeal held a press conference to discuss the result.
