Good morning, Rogers.

Churches offer a range of community events.

Bella Vista Community Church holds monthly brunches, Bible studies (beginning Sept. 15) and fitness classes, while First Presbyterian Church hosts Sunday worship with soprano Mary Weaver, and Highland Christian Church runs a blood drive on June 30.

Rogers-based Meals on Wheels closed at the end of May after 40 years of serving fewer than 100 clients on six routes across Rogers and nearby areas - the nonprofit said volunteer and funding shortages led to the shutdown.

The intersection of Fifth and Mulberry, near Rogers Heritage High School and New Life Apostolic Church, will be closed for three days starting Wednesday for water main work.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
