ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Authorities on Friday identified 85-year-old Louis Woodhaddock as the victim of a fatal house fire on North Fifth Street; he was removed from the burning home on Wednesday, taken to Mercy hospital where he died around 4:30 p.m.—fire officials are still investigating the cause. - ➤ Former Rogers psychiatrist Brian Hyatt, who faces trial later this year for alleged Medicaid fraud, was arrested for public intoxication on June 5 and released on a written promise—his Medicaid fraud trial is set for October 20 and he is named in over 150 lawsuits. 5 News
- ➤ Bentonville — the Arkansas Supreme Court dismissed an appeal of a local circuit judge’s ruling that prohibited prosecutors from using a man’s chat messages as evidence in his internet stalking trial, a decision announced just minutes ago. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
