Retailers in Cave Springs report that fireworks for the Fourth of July will cost about 10 to 15% more due to tariffs on Chinese imports.
Manager John Marshall said the store is absorbing most of the increase—customers will still see higher prices at checkout.
Northwest Arkansas was rated No.6 on Business Facilities’ 2025 Best Business Climate ranking for mid-sized metros—a result of long-term work to improve jobs, roads and business rules.

Arkansas joined 19 other states in asking a federal appeals court to reinstate an Iowa law that bans school libraries from offering books with sexual content.
Attorney General Tim Griffin said letting a federal judge decide library materials infringes on free speech and local control — he argues that state and local officials should set these rules.
