Alice L. Walton School of Medicine welcomed its first class on July 14 — expanding health care education in Northwest Arkansas.
The school, located east of Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, offers a four-year whole health medical degree, waives tuition for its first five classes and partners with local providers for clinical rotations.

Arkansas coach Sam Pittman said that wide receiver Ismael Cisse had surgery last Friday for torn wrist ligaments that will probably keep him out for the season — he got injured while lifting weights and the team will wait until Aug.
1st to decide his replacement.
