EDUCATION NEWS

  • Dozens of workers finished last-minute renovations at Greer Lingle Middle School to welcome 680 students today after the school suffered $12.7 million in tornado damage on Memorial Day — construction on the performing arts center is still underway and will be completed soon.  4029 News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Rogers City Council approved a $43 million emergency reserve fund set aside for use only during events like natural disasters—its creation was spurred by 2024 tornado damage. The fund will be used only in emergencies so the city is ready for urgent needs.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
