A man from Pea Ridge was accused of holding his brother at gunpoint during an argument last week—he turned himself in to police over the weekend—and was arrested.

Rogers Mounties are entering the 2025 football season with high hopes after returning key players including standout quarterback Jeff Reagan—this season they aim to overcome past playoff hurdles as they host North Little Rock on August 29.

The team plans to build on their strong roster and finally advance beyond the second round.

Bentonville's boys golf team won the Fayetteville Bulldog Classic at Fayetteville Country Club with a team score of 291 — 11 over par, while Rogers' girls team took first with a 231 score — 11 strokes ahead of the next competitor.
