- ➤ America’s Car-Mart, a Rogers-based buy-here, pay-here used car dealer, issued $172 million in asset-backed notes Friday — with $133.34 million in Class A notes at a 5.01% coupon and $38.62 million in Class B notes at a 6.08% coupon. CEO Douglas Campbell said he was pleased with the outcome and expects further improvements to the platform. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

- ➤ The Walton family is seeking a visionary president for a new STEM-focused university set to open in August 2028 in Bentonville—candidates must have a strong background in business and hands-on learning to build a skilled local workforce. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Arkansas released a $308 million proposal to bring broadband to nearly 80,000 homes and businesses, and a broadband expert said the plan is among the best in the region—most locations will receive reliable fiber while a few will get satellite service. The proposal will go to the federal government by Sept 4 and, if approved along with state legislature action, work will begin in early 2026. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
