CRIME NEWS

  • Benton County Sheriff's Office is searching for 29-year-old Tyler Estep who was last seen in Bentonville and may be in Siloam Springs or Grove, Oklahoma—officials noted he has brown hair, brown eyes and distinct tattoos on his arm and behind his ear.  5 News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Benton County and consultant Freese and Nichols will host two public meetings on Sept. 10 at the Gentry Public Library’s McKee Community Room and Sept. 18 at the NEBCO Community Center to gather resident input on a new drainage manual designed to improve stormwater management—residents will share their experiences during the presentations, Q&A, and group discussions.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • Rogers has updated its code enforcement policy so property owners must fix unsightly conditions like tall grass within seven days of receiving notice. If owners do not comply, the Parks and Recreation Department will clean the property and place a lien on it—residents can also view cases on a new online dashboard.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
