GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Governor Huckabee Sanders announced on Sept. 9 that the Arkansas National Guard will support ICE by providing up to 40 unarmed guardsmen for detainee transport and administrative tasks in areas including Little Rock, Fort Smith, Fayetteville, and Camp Robinson — a measure that has already raised local concerns. Immigrant rights groups in Springdale urged residents to carry yellow Know Your Rights cards so they are ready for any contact with authorities.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • After Gov.
