- ➤ Authorities will search for the remains of Lt. Col. Robert Vesey—a World War II soldier from Arkansas who gave his life to save a fellow soldier at a Japanese prisoner of war camp in Mindanao—as friend Ben Hagans recalled his bittersweet act. - ➤ At Pinnacle Country Club on Saturday, heavy rain, thunder and lightning delayed tee times until 11:15 a.m.—and play was suspended at 3:30 p.m. Tournament officials said that grounds tickets purchased on Saturday can be redeemed today, while BITE Experience ticket holders will be refunded and given complimentary grounds tickets. 4029 News
