COMMUNITY NEWS

  • This weekend, Friday through Sunday, Northwest Arkansas will host many events such as Jon Pardi’s show at Walmart AMP in Rogers today at 7 p.m.—NWA Miracle League will host a burger competition at Shiloh Square on Sunday while farmers markets, live music, and outdoor activities are scheduled in Springdale and Siloam Springs.  5 News

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Springdale-based 7 Brew announced a partnership with Texas-based Dude Perfect—its beverages will soon appear in online content and a walk-up bar will open at Dude Perfect’s Dallas headquarters. The company also will debut a new beverage next summer from its network of 480 stands—including its first in Rogers.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • 7 Brew announced on Wednesday that it will partner with Dude Perfect to have its drinks featured in online videos—this Springdale-based brand will open a walk-up coffee bar at Dude Perfect's headquarters in Dallas and debut a new beverage next summer.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
  • On Sept 25th, Assembled Products Corporation announced it is now called Kiefer Sage and moved into its new 118,000-square-foot campus (405 W. Easy St. in Rogers). President Erin Kiefer said the move brings all operations together (consolidating seven sites) to cut costs and truck miles while setting up future growth.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Representative Steve Womack said that lawmakers must resolve their differences by Oct. 1 to prevent a government shutdown, warning that federal workers could face layoffs if the impasse continues. He explained that narrow margins in the House and Senate require bipartisan work — vital for keeping services like air safety and food inspections running.  5 News
