  • Rogers officials and local business owners have prepared for the 25th annual Bikes, Blues & BBQ rally which will run from Wednesday through Oct. 4—streets downtown will be closed at certain times and police will be on patrol to ensure safety. The rally will feature live music, food trucks and vendor displays as visitors from across the country are expected.  Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

  • A new Walmart Supercenter in Centerton is set to begin construction next spring—after the Planning Commission approved the plans—and a company spokesman confirmed the project is on track—indicating that work will start next year.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette
