  • Rogers Heritage High School has partnered with the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank to host a drive-through food pantry every second Friday, providing essential food assistance to local families. Teacher Wayne Levering inspired the effort and his students will help organize distribution during any weather — rain, snow, sleet, or shine.  5 News

  • Earlier this week, Walmart held its annual Open Call event at its new Bentonville campus and selected more than 100 entrepreneurs who pitched U.S.-made products (which must be produced in the U.S.) for potential placement on Walmart and Sam's Club shelves and online.  Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

EDUCATION NEWS

  • An audit by the state department of education found 239 students were enrolled twice during the 2023-2024 school year in the Education Freedom Accounts program—an issue that might lead to duplicate funding. Officials said they worked with schools to stop the overlap and will review the matter further in November.  4029 News
