- ➤ Northwest Arkansas will host a busy weekend of events from October 17 to 19—Rogers will feature the Downtown Rogers Local Food and Art Market along with the Chili Cook-Off at the Farmers Market, while the region will enjoy Oktoberfest NWA Beer Festival on Saturday and a live show by Twenty One Pilots on Sunday at the Walmart AMP. 5 News
- ➤ For the Love NWA, a nonprofit serving Rogers and nearby cities, saw numbers rise to between 400 and 450 people Monday from its usual 250 due to missed paychecks and rising food costs during the government shutdown—its program, started in 2020, now provides over 1,000 free meals weekly. The organization will host its first-ever Neighbors Night in Fayetteville next Wednesday. 4029 News
