Three Arkansan companies and a school received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Global Trade last week while the Arkansas Index closed Tuesday at 928.55 after gaining 2.72 points. - ➤ Rogers School District officials presented plans to add commissioned school safety officers at a Tuesday board meeting—these officers would support lower-grade schools with each set to earn $35,000 and an initial hire costing about $49,252.
