Good morning, Rogers.
🏘️ Community
First Baptist Church in Rogers delivered over 2,000 Thanksgiving meals to more than 420 homes on Thursday morning.
Each family received a traditional dinner with ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a slice of pie—volunteers had planned the delivery for months.
🎭 Culture
Dr. George Love, a Rogers resident for 45 years, opened his hospital in the early 1900s and operated it for 18 years.
Tragedy hit his family in 1953—his son died on June 26, he died four days later, and his wife passed away in October—yet the restored building still stands today.
