- ➤ The Salvation Army in Bentonville is asking for volunteers as red kettle donations drop due to more online shopping. The organization needs help stocking food, warm coats, and socks plus is supporting over 11,500 locals during the holiday season. 5 News
- ➤ Mayors from Rogers and other NW Arkansas cities took part in the annual ring off for the Salvation Army on Thursday to raise funds for community programs. Red kettles will be up until Christmas Eve+ donations go to local efforts. 4029 News

- ➤ Springdale-based Tyson Foods reported higher executive pay as Donnie King earned $34.47M in 2025 (up from $22.77M in 2024) with increased stock awards. - ➤ The Arkansas Department of Health confirmed the state's first flu death on Dec. 17 and reported 112 hospitalizations, including 12 in Benton — where Rogers is located. Health experts warn that numbers will rise and urge residents to get their flu shots. 5 News
